Thank you Steve and everyone else that made it a great day out, at least our point of view, and judging from the sounds coming from the dance hall also from everyone else’s.
The day did not start too early for us, as we drove up yesterday and stayed at a friends place ( thank you Ioannis!). Barely not drowsy anymore from NyQuil and waiting for the DayQuil high to kick in, Fiona and I scrabled to set up the stand with all the practice wear and shoes before the mad rush of customers.
Mad it was! You guys were desperate to get shoes before your first round! While unpacking boxes of shoes, 5 people asked for shoes and by the time we got around to them, there were 20 odd. Thank you for not making us chase any of you up - ten pairs of shoes being tried on at the same time is hard to keep track of.
International shoes were the best seller. Followed by our Latin trousers, which come to us researched, designed and individually hand-made from our Hong Kong HQ.
We hope to be able to negotiate a stand at Sheffield in February 2006. So if you want to see us and our products there, let Sheffield know!
